Sustainability is one of our key values as an Emirati brand, and for us it means continuous growth, social value and being environmentally conscious by assessing every part of our operations as well as the brands and items featured through our store.

Our aim is to take positive steps and to support like-minded clients and suppliers. Each decision we make symbolizes our commitment to define the future of sustainable retail in the UAE.

  

• Eco-friendly Packaging

Dappertastic Dubai is a proud member of the Eco-friendly Packaging Alliance. The Alliance supports global reforestation, with 6529 trees planted so far all around the world.

 

 

We are delighted to announce that we are upgrading our packaging materials in 2020 by switching to eco-friendly packaging suppliers.

The tissue paper is FSC Certified and completely acid free. The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is a non-profit organization that works to promote responsible forest management. Acid-free paper is paper that is infused in water yields a neutral or basic pH (7 or slightly greater). It is also lignin and sulfur-free.

The ink used is made from soybeans. As opposed to traditional petroleum-based ink, soy-based ink is more environmentally friendly and makes it easier to recycle paper.

 

• Improving Air Quality

In order to support Dubai’s commitment to the C40 Clean Air Cities Declaration, we have decided to reduce the frequency of our deliveries by delivering orders once a week. By doing so, we are taking small steps to reduce traffic congestion and transport-related carbon emissions in our city.

 

 

• Promoting Responsible Buying

Dappertastic Dubai is the ideal place for men who have matured beyond “logo mania” and “fast fashion” trends. Our clients are receptive to niche brands and positive luxury lifestyle items.
