This jacket is made from 30 recycled plastic bottles, is fully breathable and waterproof and FC/PFC free.

The Urban Jacket is designed for adventurers to defy elements in the city. The reversible reflective cuffs makes hand signals more visible if you're cycling at night. There are hidden sleeve pockets so you can have your cards, keys, and snacks right up your sleeve(s), and on both arms. A real life changer.

The discreet armpit zips to help you stay cool. For those intense rides, or intense walks to catch the metro.

+ Sustainable Materials

The jacket is FC / PFC free. PFCs (fluorocarbon) are commonly used on most water repellent jackets. Although they perform well, they are harmful to both wildlife and people. This is why the brand uses a safe alternative made in Germany: BIONIC-FINISH® ECO. A water repellent finish, that is fluorocarbon-free, bluesign® accredited.

Care & Washing Instructions

We recommend you hand-wash your Urban Jacket, but alternatively, you can use a washing machine if you follow these steps: put your Urban Jacket in a pillow case or a washing bag and knot the ends together. Use mild detergent, with warm water (max 30°C), on a delicate cycle. Rinse twice. Once that's done, hang it on a coat hanger, and let it air dry. Do not use biological agents, fabric softener, tumble dry or iron.

About The Brand

Labo Mono was born in 2018 by Ali Namdari, a designer living in London. The idea sparked after being caught out in the rainstorm, while cycling home. After looking online for a good waterproof jacket, comfortable when cycling and that looked casual for everyday wear, he quickly realised his choices were limited. And the few jackets on the market that came close looked very plain and were far from being sustainably made. From here, the idea of creating practical, versatile and sustainable clothes, that look casually cool was born: Labo Mono, and their first product: The Urban Jacket.
